Great things in life are rarely free so grab this one whilst you can ! Good friend and fellow "petrol head" Glenn Long from Long Road Racing in Raleigh is offering 3 free classes titled "What is set-up and how do I do it" but be quick as seating is limited to 8 per class. The dates are February 27th at 7:00 pm, March 4th at 7:00 pm and March 19th at 7:30 pm. These classes usually run $200.00 and upwards so be quick. There will be plenty of "eye candy" in the workshop, of the four wheeled kind of course, and I guarantee that you will not meet a more knowledgeable and experienced instructor. January 2008
2008 will be a busy year for Autopro's Doug Beckett as he will be working with the Freedom Autosport (formerly known as Performance Autosport) race team who are running in the Grand Am Koni challenge www.grandamerican.com/koni/ . The koni challenge is extremely competitive, close racing and features cars that resemble the models available at you local dealership. The series allows various modifications to the car's powertrain and suspension aswell as mandating safety equipment of the highest standards. The first event of the season was at Daytona on January 24 - 25 and the team had great success with both of the Mazda MX5's finishing the grueling race. Lime rock CT on May 23 - 26 will be the next race of the season and we will be sure to keep you posted !

OCTOBER 2007
Autopro Motorsport have recently become members of Virginia International Raceway, www.virclub.com .The track which is known as one of the best road courses in the USA will be the proving ground for the Westfield range of cars built by Autopro Motorsport. Membership at VIR is highly recommended as it enables access to drive your car on the track during it's many "members driving days" aswell as admission to all races and much more.

Westfield victory in the USA !
Jonny Lieberman from www.jalopnik.com recently tested our car against many others on the 7/7/7 event and declared "after a trip up and down the dragon, I knew this was the car I would take home". [Full report]
The autopro Motorsport car intentionally runs on standard Westfield shock absorbers and no anti roll bars to show what a superb car Westfields are in stock form. Race shocks and anti roll bars are a cost option. What would the press say about a Sport S ?

The Autopro Westfield has just returned from a 50th Birthday party for the legendary car we all love so much.The party which was held on 07/07/07 (coincidence ?) was a huge success with 50 cars attending. Some owners travelled over 900 miles in their cars to join us at "Tail of the Dragon" also known as "Route 129" on the North Carolina and Tennessee border.The event included a car show where owners could compare cars aswell as a group drive on the legendary road which tested all of the cars and drivers with its 318 curves in 11 miles

Great news !! The first Autopro Motorsport Westfield
here in the USA is now road legal !! The process is very easy thanks
to Westfield's attention to detail regarding the required paperwork.
(1) The first step is for a DMV Inspector to come out to our premises to check that the donor vehicle title matches the engine and gearbox numbers. The Inspector also checks that the MCO (Manufacturers Certificate of Origin) is up to the required standards and that it matches the VIN stamped of the frame by Westfield. We then took the paperwork to the local DMV office to apply for a title.
(2) After roughly two weeks the vehicle was issued with a North Carolina identity number which was affixed to the vehicle by the Inspector , again at our premises.After this is completed the Inspector confirms the process with DMV.
(3) After waiting for two days for paperwork to clear , we were able to register the car , carry out a state inspection (safety only) and off we went !!!!

19th and 20th 2007
Carlisle PA hosted the annual Import and Kit car show last weekend
and the Westfield display was quite a hit with everyone. Tom from
Manik Technologies brought his pristine Westfield Eleven and Autopro
brought the recently completed Westfield Miata . Although both
Tom and I travelled a fair distance to be at the show (Texas and
North Carolina), nobody travelled further than Westfield's Managing
Director , Julian Turner who came from England to proudly show
the cars off to our guests.
Westfield are totally commited to providing world class products
and service internationally, as they have done in England for
the last 25 years and we at Autopro are proud to supply , build
and
maintain such fine sportscars.Look for us at the next event
which is the 7/7/7 event at "Tail of the Dragon".
